Dr. Mary Manana holds a PHD in Applied Sciences, a Master
of Philosophy in Environmental Studies (Economics), she also has an MA in Organizational Leadership and Management, and a Bachelor of Education degree specializing in Economic/Business.

Dr. Manana is a highly experienced strategic and transformative leader with over 25 years of progressive working experience, having worked in various senior management positions revolving around institutional and systems development, stakeholder management and relationship with key stakeholders.

She is a dedicated leader, an environmentalist, a mentor with an extra ordinary passion for education development, livelihoods and change management.

She has a track record of planting more than 21 million trees in Uganda as the Chairperson of Mount Elgon Tree Growing Enterprise (METGE). She is also the Chairperson of Jenga Community Development Outreach, (JENGA focuses on community resilience and the environment).

I am a decisive and experienced leader in impacting organization direction and performance with successful leadership strategies, tactical decision making and forward thinking approaches. Proven history of improving operations through strong leadership with clear understanding of operations.
Being a student leader and working with diverse organizatons, my responsibilities included overseeing performance management, budgeting, negotiation, communication, and team management. I effectively led a diverse team, fostering collaboration and promoting individual growth. Through performance management, I set clear goals, provided constructive feedback, and recognized achievements, resulting in enhanced team productivity and morale. I excelled in budgeting by effectively allocating resources, optimizing expenditures, and ensuring financial transparency. My negotiation skills were pivotal in securing partnerships and resources to support team initiatives. I communicated with stakeholders through various channels, disseminating information and promoting a cohesive vision. Overall, my leadership contributed to a cohesive and high-performing team, achieving notable outcomes and leaving a lasting impact.

Meet Edwin Jeremy, the Communication Lead at Nature Lover Organization (NLO). Since joining in 2023, Edwin has played a pivotal role in refining NLO's identity and revitalizing its online presence. With a passion for environmental conservation and a knack for communication, he ensures NLO's message resonates with stakeholders. Beyond his professional endeavors, Edwin's commitment to NLO's mission shines through in his volunteer work and community engagement. His wealth of experience from  managing digital media accounts further enriches his contributions to NLO and the broader environmental conservation community. 

Introducing Billy Mwangi, an industrious individual with a penchant for problem-solving and a forthcoming graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering in Geospatial Engineering. Billy's keen interest in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) drives his pursuit of opportunities that challenge his creative faculties, be it technically or logically. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, he endeavors to harness his diverse skill set to excel in any role he undertakes.

Billy brings valuable experience to the table, having served as an intern at Swift Lab Limited since September 2023. In this role, he has been instrumental in GIS analysis and visualization of drone data, primarily focusing on crop health monitoring using vegetation indices from both RGB and IR images. Additionally, Billy has been involved in crafting business-case proposals for mapping solutions offered to clients.

Currently, Billy serves as a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer at Nature Lover Consultants Limited, a position he has held since July 2023. In this capacity, he conducts stock-takes of the organization's projects, including established nursery beds and the number of trees planted. He also produces maps detailing forest cover loss, aiding the organization in refining its conservation efforts.

Billy's academic background includes coursework in Engineering Survey, Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing, and Spatial Data Analysis using Python. Furthermore, he has pursued certifications in GIS for Climate Action, Spatial Data Science, Climate Justice, and Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis.

With his diverse skill set, practical experience, and unwavering dedication, Billy Mwangi is poised to make significant contributions as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. His ability to leverage geospatial technology and data analysis techniques will undoubtedly enhance the effectiveness and impact of monitoring and evaluation efforts within any organization.

Tabitha Gati is a supervisorfor Natures Love Ltd company. She holds a diploma in Cooperative Management and Accounting, She has 2years of experience in Forest and Rangelands management, Water and biodiversity conservation. She has designed integrated programs related to natural resources management with emphasis on Makingenvironment green. Her mission and vision is to make our environmentgreen and to enhance people wellness through environmental conservation.

Emmanuel is an environmental advocate, he prides in researching on how IT, AI, etc, can be used for climate Mitigation. His approach to climate action is to fold your sleeves and do the work.

As a key member of the Nature Lover Consultant team, Paul brings a wealth of expertise in project management, programing and partner engagement. Paul's exceptional skills make him an invaluable asset to NLC. Paul excels in planning and coordinating project activities, setting realistic goals, and effectively allocating resources. His ability to navigate challenges, mitigate risks, and adapt to changing circumstances guarantees successful project outcomes and timely delivery of results.

His strategic mindset and exceptional communication skills enable him to forge mutually beneficial partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including governmental organizations, non-profits, local communities, and private entities. With a keen eye for detail and an organized approach, he ensures the seamless execution of complex projects from inception to completion.

Naomi is a dedicated professional with over 7 years of experience in project management, coordination and implementation of donor-funded programs. Her expertise lies in working with vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations including those residing in informal settlements, youth in higher education institutions, arid and semi-arid areas (ASALs)

For the past five years, Naomi served as the Executive Assistant to the Garissa County First Lady, where she successfully coordinated various community projects in health, education, and community resilience that were funded by donors. Her role involved managing the end-to-end implementation of these projects, ensuring effective coordination among stakeholders and achieving impactful outcomes.

Maria is a highly skilled finance and accounting specialist with extensive experience in managing financial operations, analyzing data, and providing strategic financial guidance. She possesses a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and best practices in financial management coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Having worked in various finance and accounting roles throughout her career and gaining comprehensive expertise in the field, her experience includes positions in both corporate and public accounting settings, where she has a proven track record of effectively optimizing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and maximizing profitability for organizations across various industries.

My name is Kirera Denis Muchoki. I am a 24 year old Kenyan citizen, currently in my 5th year pursuing a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. I hold 2 certificates from Harvard (online) in The Art of Rhetoric and Leadership Principles. I also hold a Certificate from The Corporate Finance Institute in Financial Modelling and Value Assessment. I currently serve as the Student President at the Technical University of Kenya and the Youth Senator for Murang’a County under the Youth Senate Organisation. I lastly sit in various University policy making committees. I am passionate about conceptualization and execution of ideas and as such have been able to develop projects in my University and outside to give students more opportunities to generate revenue and learn. In my free time, I practice boxing, listen to music and read extensively on history and philosophy.
