Research and Innovation
1. Case Studies
NLC is keen on conducting a comprehensive assessment framework for its reforestation programs involving school going children. This assessment will be tested on a case study to provide reliable end results for survival and growth of trees, behavior change as relates to mind set change in children as tree champions and nature conscious individuals over a period of time. The case study will be conducted 3 years into the project.
2. Collaborative research and Innovation practices
NLC invites individual researchers, organizations, institutions and communities from diverse backgrounds to join hands and extend the possibilities of discovery through research and provide findings beyond what NLC could achieve alone.
NLC is committed to women and youth empowerment through incubation and acceleration hubs. These are platforms to address inadequate skills, inappropriate financing options, regulatory and socio cultural barriers, limited access to knowledge, networks and technology. As the most enterprising segment of the population, women and youth with the right support will bring innovation to various sectors of the economy resulting to resilient communities.
