Ndurarua Primary School starting up an orchard at their school with the help of Nature Lovers team, HumansDid and TreeSixty.

At Ndurarua Primary School, the morning of 17th July 2025 was filled with laughter, muddy shoes, and bright hopes. Under the warm sun, the Nature Lover Team, joined by eager students from  class 4, 5 and 6, gathered in the school yard for a special mission — to plant fruit trees that would grow alongside them.

Armed with fruit seedlings while teachers and volunteers guided their busy hands. Mangoes, guavas, and avocado seedlings found their new home in the rich soil, their tender leaves brushing curious fingers. These trees would soon offer shade, fresh fruits, and lessons in patience and care.

This beautiful day was made possible by the generosity of HumansDid and TreeSixty, who donated all the seedlings. Their gift was more than just trees — it was hope for a greener, healthier future. As the last seedling was watered, the students stood proudly beside their new orchard. Together, they had planted roots not just in the soil, but in their hearts — roots that would nourish the school for generations to come.
